No. Our perforated backing drains urine away quickly, and the antimicrobial infill neutralizes odor-causing bacteria. A periodic rinse keeps it fresh.
Is it safe if my dog chews or eats grass?+
Our turf is non-toxic and lead-free. While it isn't food, it's safe to be around — and most dogs lose interest once there's nothing to dig up.
Can my dog dig through it?+
The turf is secured and backed by a compacted base, so typical digging won't get through. It removes the dirt that makes digging rewarding in the first place.
How do I clean up after my pet?+
Solids are picked up as usual; liquids drain through. Hose the area occasionally and use a mild turf deodorizer for a deeper clean.
