Does artificial turf get hot in the Florida sun?+
It can warm up on very hot, sunny days — like any surface — but it cools down quickly with a quick spray from the hose. Lighter-colored and heat-reflective options also help.
What maintenance does turf need?+
Very little. Rinse or brush it occasionally to keep fibers upright and clear leaves, and clean about once a year with a mild bleach solution or turf deodorizer.
What sub-base do you use?+
We recommend and install a crushed pea-gravel sub-base. It ensures proper water drainage and prevents pooling beneath the turf.
